Today is Bound to Writing’s 3 year anniversary! Can we get a whoop whoop?!

For 3 years I have learned how to blog and have adapted my blog to fit the content I wanted to put out into the community. Well today is a big change for Bound to Writing! I’m officially making Bound to Writing an indie publishing resource for the indie writers in the community. To celebrate, I’ll be hosting an anniversary GIVEAWAY, but more on that a little later!

As an indie writer myself, I’ve wanted to create content that helps other indie published authors thrive. It’s not an easy task, but I’ve always been open and honest about my struggles and successes in this industry. But I was taking on too much when Bound to Writing was also a book blog.

Does that mean Bound to Writing is no longer a book blog?

In short, yes. Bound to Writing is no longer going to be a book blog. Though I will still be keeping any indie published book reviews and information that will help indie authors live, a majority of book-related posts have been removed or will be removed within the coming weeks. (Let’s face it 3 years of posts is a lot to go through.)

What can you expect from Bound to Writing?

As a newly reinvented indie publishing and writing blog, expect information on writing and marketing. I’ve already been creating this content, but that will now be the sole focus for this blog. For a more detailed list of what you can expect, check out the updated About Me page.

Will I still be subscribed to Bound to Writing?

Of course! If you’re already part of my WordPress followers or my mailing lists, you will continue to receive updates from Bound to Writing. The only people that will need to update their preferences will be any of the Readers Mailing List subscribers (I’ve sent out an email explaining how to change your preferences.)

Will you still be publishing books?

I plan to in the future as I have several WIPs that I really want to finish. However, as many of you may already know I’m having a baby this August and have since had to make some adjustments to my writing schedule. But you can always stay up to date on my writing journey by subscribing to my Author – Jennifer Leigh mailing list.
