Tomorrow is the final day of the Forever Disguised Blog Tour! I’ve already posted an exclusive excerpt and author interview for the tour, which you can catch right HERE if you missed it. I’ve also had the pleasure of reading this book, and let me tell you it’s AMAZING! Need more of a reason to read this series? Read on for my review!
Before I begin, you can read my review of Book 1, First Came Forever right here.
Be forewarned that this post will contain SPOILERS for book 1. Read at your own risk!
Now that you’re acquainted with First Came Forever, let me introduce to you Forever Disguised!
Synopsis:
The Angelheart Saga Trilogy follows 18-year-old Erica Lindell as an unexpected meeting changes her life forever. It’s a romantic YA series about friendship, first love and the devastating consequences a mistake can lead to. In this sequel, we get to meet Erica again after the shocking events in First Came Forever:
Erica would do anything to turn back time. To get a second chance to make the right decisions. To undo the devastating mistake that ruined everything.
Left heartbroken after the loss of the love of her life, Sasha aka Prince Alexandre, Erica has to find a way to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart and live with the consequences of her actions. But finding the strength to go on with her life is not all she has to contend with. Soon, Erica finds herself in the midst of the evil feuding behind the attack on Sasha and she has to fight to protect herself and all that is near and dear to her.
Amongst all of the confusion, pain and hurt, Tyler proposes a solution that may solve all of her problems. But will Erica go through with Tyler’s crazy scheme?
The much-anticipated second book of the Angelheart Saga Trilogy is another enchanting, heart-wrenching story about the mistakes made in the name of love, full of drama, passion and surprising twists.
My Rating: 4.75 pens!

I was provided a paperback copy of Forever Disguised from Annie Woods in exchange for my honest review.
My heart aches so much after finishing this one.
I’m writing this review only an hour after finishing this book and I just can’t believe what I just read. My emotions are all over the place and I’m pretty sure I need some ice cream and a hug.
I fell in love with Erica and Tyler (not so much Sasha) in First Came Forever when I read that book last year. I was so glad that Forever Disguised picks up right where First Came Forever left off. Not a bit was missing. The characters are all back and the plot is better than ever. Definitely an amazing second book for this series! So let’s see why I love this book so much that I binge read over half of it yesterday!
-
Tyler 💗
I will always be #teamTyler!! He makes my heart so happy and the way he interacts with Erica just… Well, this gif perfectly describes my feelings for Tyler! I just love him!!
-
The Other Characters
Oh yeah, Tyler isn’t the only character in this book. The other characters are well-developed and they are so amazing to read. Erica and reading about her pregnancy and the struggles with it. Danny is just an awesome friend. Nate, Magdalena, and Elijah are all new characters that are all unique. Then Erica’s dad, Mr. and Mrs. Haynes, Erica’s class friends, Ricky & Jordan (adorable!), and so many other amazing characters that I just want to read so much more about.
-
Plot
The plot in Forever Disguised will knock you off your feet. It’s twisty and swoony and heartbreaking all in one. So many great things happen in this book that I wish I could talk about, but this whole post would be spoilers and spoilers won’t get you to read this book (which you should because it’s amazing)!
-
Multiple POV
We get it all in this book. Every voice is heard as we move from Erica to Tyler to Francesca. It brought the stories full circle.
-
Emotions
I heard this book would make you cry by the end, but I honestly didn’t think it would. I consider myself pretty good at not crying when reading, but this book had me tearing by the end. How could you do this to me Annie?!
On a more serious note, this book is full of love, romance, heartbreak, and so many complex emotions are thrown into one amazing book.
-
No Sense of Time
Maybe this is just me when I was reading, but I felt like there was no sense of time. Sometimes we’d be one place and within the next paragraph, we were somewhere completely else on a different day.
-
Sentence Errors
I noticed that there were several sentence errors throughout the book. None that really were a problem, but this was one of my favorite mess-ups. On one of the pages the sentence reads, “barely apple to keep standing.” Again, it was something I noticed probably because I’ve been doing a lot of editing on my own work, so it didn’t affect my rating.
Forever Disguised is an amazing sequel to First Came Forever. The characters are absolutely amazing. The plot is twisty and swoony. And there is so much emotion that my heart seriously needs to mend. There was a small problem with the sense of time, but I still am in love with this book. I’m already yearning for the final book in the series even though I don’t want it to end!
