Picking out the perfect gift is a daunting task during the holiday season. There are so many options out in the world, and with online shopping, the possibilities are endless. But it doesn’t have to be that hard especially if you have a writer on your gift list this season because this gift guide for writers is perfect. 

Writing gifts are some of the funnest gifts to shop for because a writer’s imagination is impeccable. There is a great creativity that is within all writers that make gift buying a great task.

As a writer myself, I would absolutely love if someone were to buy these items for me. They are practical and motivational during any step of the writing process.

2) Writing-Inspired Mugs

Get your writer a new mug that fits their writing passion. Whether a plotter or panster, there are so many amazing sayings and designs that will fit any type of writer. Writing mugs are the perfect option for any writer that loves tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or a collection of mugs.

3) Drinks

To go with that nice new writing mug, get your writer some drinks. Tea leaves/bags, Coffee beans, or their favorite type of hot chocolate are perfect options for gifts. Or go for lemonade, iced tea, or soda for the warmer months. You can always mix and match the types of drinks you gift to you writer.

A writer can always use more books, whether fiction or nonfiction depending on their personal preference. But writing books are educational. These books helps your writer learn more about their craft.

  1. ooooh I love that typewriter note dispenser!! I may not wait for a gift and pick that up for myself. hahaha What a great list Jenn. I feel like disposable items are better for gifts so that they can use them and not have stuff hanging around. The exception of course are books!! ❤️❤️❤️

  2. I love bookish candles, I have loads of them. I also have a writers cup – not that I’m a writer. My hubby seems to believe that one day I will be, I have no idea where he gets that idea from.
