This year, one of my goals is to read more indie published books. I’m an indie author myself, for those of you that are new to Bound to Writing (welcome!) and as I was looking at my shelf, I noticed that I don’t own many physical copies of indie published books. So this year I’m fixing that!
You may be asking what is an indie published book. If you are, let me explain it to you (if not just skip down to the next paragraph). An indie published author is an author that doesn’t go the traditional route of publishing through a publisher. Most of the time, indie books are not for sale at Barnes and Noble or any major retailer. Usually, you can find these books hiding deep within the Amazon search results.
I’ve reached out on social media and searched the internet for indie published books that I’d want to read. I received a bunch for Christmas and now, I can’t wait to get my indie reading started this year.
I’ve listed these books in alphabetical order by genre and by series. I hope you find your next read on this list. And if you have an indie published book you’ve written or read and would like me to add it to the list, comment below or email me at boundtowriting@gmail.com.
