Meet the Not Like Everyone Else Characters

Hello everyone! Today, I figured we could do a fun post to get to know some of the characters from one of my books. The book? Not Like Everyone Else. This book celebrated it’s 5th birthday this year and honestly, I can’t believe it’s been that long. It definitely took me a bit to remember the characters, but it was great to reminisce. So let’s get to know the characters from Not Like Everyone Else.

Main Character – Ryan

Ryan is someone who trusts people easily. She is introverted and if she had the chance to avoid someone at the store, she’d duck down the first aisle. Though she may have some memory issues, ie. forgetting events and details of those events, Ryan is there for her friends.

Friend – Harper

Harper is the extroverted and bubbly best friend that sometimes makes you want to hide in public. She is outspoken and doesn’t let people walk over her. The way her and Ryan become friends is out of force (the good kind) because we all know Ryan would’ve pulled away if she could. But by then it was too late and they were friends.

Friend – Harley

Harley is an edgy and mysterious friend that Ryan meets at work. She is welcoming and caring toward Ryan. Her home life is a bit bleak and that has made her the tough person she appears to be in the book.

Boyfriend – Elliot

Elliot is the caring and gentle soul that everyone needs in their life. He is new to town, but it doesn’t take long to find the girl of his dreams. He is persistent and flirty. If you’re looking for a new book boyfriend, Elliot is your guy.

Ex-Boyfriend – Corey

Corey is the complete opposite of Elliot. On the outside he is a sweet guy, but behind closed doors, he is bad-tempered. He likes his image to remain that way even if that means going out of his way to help people load groceries into their car. He is certain no one will see how mean he can be if he is set off.
