Cute, small town novellas about a kind of forbidden romance is exactly what I was looking for when I picked up Summer of Peace. I enjoyed reading Peace in Flames by my friend Caroline earlier this year and I was excited to see many of the same characters in this story.

Things I Like

~Real small-town feel

~Cute love story

Things I Don't Like

~JoJo jumping to conclusions

Overall

Summer of Peace is a cute, small-town love story. I like the development between Matt and JoJo’s relationship. The plot twist is unexpected and I liked it! Although I didn’t like JoJo’s way of jumping to conclusions, it fit her character well. I look forward to reading more by Caroline Andrus.
