Poetry with a strong message is some of my favorite type of poetry. When I was contacted about reading Dear Humanity, I just knew I was going to be reading something great. I wasn’t wrong.
Dear Humanity focuses on exactly what the title says: humanity. The hardships and the great joys that bring humanity together. It is raw and hard-hitting. Time for the review!

Dear Humanity is written in a free verse style. Many of the poems are short but easy to read. Everything flows well.
I found this poetry collection to be very relatable. It tackles some hard topics like abortion, race, and politics. But in a way so creative that makes you feel their power.
The poems pack a deep punch. Within the first few pages I wasn’t sure if I was going to cry or not at the raw honesty this collection shows.
Dear Humanity is a powerful collection about the human race. It focuses on what humanity is doing and the harm that it’s doing to everyone. How if we, as humans, work together to build ourselves up, life would be that much more beautiful. Dear Humanity has such a great message that people should read.
